There are nine schools on the island of Carriacou. The education system is largely
based upon the English system that separates the levels into 'Forms.' The lovely children
here are very intelligent, and many show a deep hunger for gaining knowledge and getting
an education. Unfortunately, I have seen too many children drop out of school for various
reasons.
The government is doing as much as it can to meet the education needs of its
people. In time I hope that Windward Bible Church will be able to help provide more
educational opportunities for more children on the island of Carriacou. Please see the goals for WBC for more information.
